Walking paradise in the UNESCO World Heritage Site

Medium paced hike (500 m vertical meter gain/h)

Date: Saturday 18.06 at 9am

The route starts from Betten 850 m - goes to Bettmeralp 1950 m - finishes at Eggishorn 2900 m

We will keep a medium pace of 500 m/h, no long breaks in between. 

Public transport to Betten Talstation, walking to Eggishorn and then take the cable car down to Fiesch. 24km and 2400m+ If you are coming by car, leave a comment below, however, bear in mind that the start and finish are at different places if you want to do the last T4 section to Eggishorn, you can also skip this part though. 

What to bring: you should carry at least 2L of water, sun protection, headlamp, a jacket, a fully charged phone, snacks, some money, REGA membership if applicable, and ID

- Meeting at Betten Talstation at 9:05

- 6.5h to the top Eggishorn at 2926m (3:30 pm)

- take the cable car down to Fiesch

- skip the last 1.9 km T4 section and take the cable car in Bettmerhorn (2857 m) down to Betten Talstation
