Description

We take a Train from Munich HBF at 7:20 to get down in Sonthofen. From there we start biking till Vilsalpsee, Tannheim. From Tannheim the hiking starts till Schreksee, and Traubalsee and then come back to our bike at Vilsalspsee. 

I have  both a gravel bike and a mountain bike, depending upon the group I can bring one.

9 Euro Ticket! 

A bike ticket for a whole day (costs 6 Euro for Bavaria). 

FFP2 Mask. 

Cash for food and drinks. 

Proper clothes. 

Hiking/trail running shoes, 

Swimming suit. 

And a charged mobile.

Bike Ticket is 6 Euro. It will be difficult anyway to bring a bike into a train on a Sunday during 9 Euro ticket times. Would not risk it on weekends.

I am so happy to see there are a lot of people wanted to join this crazy event :) I have a spoiler alert. I have a sudden wisdom tooth extraction appointment on Thursday. Yea, maybe I have too much wisdom :P . Depending on my health condition I would decide what I would like to do on Sunday, whether I wanna go by Bus as I heard there is a bus available from Kempten till tannheim, or I will take the bike. I can update it on Friday evening or Saturday. .. Thank you very much for your understanding!

Guys, if you are confused about the biking part, please have a look at the biking trail https://www.komoot.com/tour/817838812?ref=aso&share_token=ad2qWWC1J83pxtYQDF9pUPu7fxnc43mAQfFstLpV7rNOZtPS8P.. this is one way so we have to do the similar return trip from Tannheim to Sonthofen. I want to make sure that it's not easy biking. so if you don't have a mountain bike or atleast gravel bike, this event might not be for you. the participants should be regular bikers and fit hikers

Quick Update: The event is on, I don't feel devastated due to the wisdom tooth extraction, our hiking buddy (Dr. Sibel Turgut) has done a great job :) I highly recommend her for your dental surgeon... See you guys tomorrow. Please take your Bavaria Bike day ticket and 9 euro ticket for June. The train RE 76 leaves at 7:20 tomorrow from platform number (27-36) to Oberstdorf but we get down at Sonthofen. Cant wait to see you tomorrow!
