Please contact me before joining. You need experience for long Via Ferratas and hikes for this one. I'll kick out people who join without contacting me (use +33 6 18 31 59 22 with WhatsApp).
Meeting Point: : We'll meet at 6:30am at the "Zustieg Höllental" https://goo.gl/maps/dZX7qx4LtsGTsKP28
I'll be already there the day before so you'll need to get there by yourself the day before and find an accommodation or depart extremely early from München (beware of the G7 summit in that case that might make the transports difficult ! ). You can go back with me by car though, I'll 2 slots !
Details : We'll go up through Höllentalklamm. This is a 1 day hike. We go early, so that if there's any issue we can still be on time for taking the cable car as an option. But the goal is to go back down through Stöpselzieher.and take public transport back to the departure point. This itinerary has been adapted to end up in Rifflriß instead of Ehrwald to avoid ending up in Austria which could cause issues due to border control. (Thanks Thomas !)
I aim an estimated pace for the hike around 500hm, and an average pace for the Via Ferrata.
In that case the whole trip should take 9-10 hours from my estimations.
Things to bring:
** I am not a mountain guide, so please be aware that you join at your own risk. **
** Some parts of the route are quite challenging due to different surfaces. No beginner.**
Please unjoin the event well in advance if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
Disclaimer: Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarize themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else
