Description
First hike i am organising here, so i took an easy one that i have already done a few weeks ago.
Rigi is one of the bigger mountains near Luzern with a great view on the surrounding lakes and the alps.
From Seebodenalp it goes straight upward to Rigi Kulm and from there the rest of the day is an easy walk back down.
Going up we will be coming from the north side and have a lot of shadowed areas, so we wont be exposed to too much sun during that. For the way down, bring sunblocker :)
I did not plan to stop at one of the restaurants, but am open for it in case participants prefer it.
Else it would be good old "picnic at the summit".
We can reach Seebodenalp by car or via cable cable car from Küssnacht.
I can pick up 3-4 people on the way there.

Hi Sascha! I'd love to come along but don't have a car to add--so that yours doesn't get too crowded, would it be ok to meet you there via public transport & the cable car? Thanks :) Signy

Hey. Yes sure that is always an option. The cable car goes from Küssnacht right up to Seebodenalp.
I can add anyone that wants to to the Whatsapp group and then we can coordinate there.
Right now i have spots in the car and could pick you up at a station nearby.
You can send a PM with your number or i can send mine, whatever is better for you.

What is starting point and time? (public transportation/cable car). I do not have Whatsapp.

Hello Imma.
We will start around 10:00 AM at "Seebodenalp".
You can reach it via cable car from Küssnacht at Grepperstrasse 43.
Communication will be easier via Whatsapp, but if you are at Seebodenalp in time, lets say infront of the Restaurant entry, i will come looking for you.

I don’t know if I can just make the group bigger without everyone else having to rejoin. So i won’t risk it. waitlist button should be next to the carpool. but if you come there you can join us for sure. or be at Küssnacht station at 09:30 and you can drive with us up to the starting point. will meet at the parking spot. but without the possibility to communicate spontaneously it might be a risk.

Hey. I did. We did arrangements for transport via Whatsapp, but i doubt we can fit everybody on the wait list in the cars.
So best would be if you take public transport to Küssnacht am Rigi station. We will load anyone that fits in the cars there and drive up to Seebodenalp. The rest can take the cable car. It is only 10 min walking distance. Starting is planned for 10:00 at Seebodenalp. Meet infront of the Restaurant.
