Description

Easy to medium hike + picnic + swimming + ferry ride on Sunday, 03 July, from Weesen - Quinten - Weesen.

It's close to Zürich and the hike is pretty complete. 

We meet at Zürich HB at 9 a.m. under the blue angel then we take the train that goes to Ziegelbrücke. From Ziegelbrücke we take the bus to Weesen.

First leg of the hike in Weesen is urban but with a view of the Walensee. The route goes all the way to the waterfalls. From the waterfalls is a descent to the village of Quinten where we could have a picnic / swim. We then take a ferry where there's an option to order some drinks aboard while enjoying the view of Walensee on the way back to Weesen.

Good to know

Please be on time. We won't wait for latecomers.

Please bring:

- Good shoes and sunscreen

- Own food and drinks and something to share for picnic.

- Cash or card for transport costs (including the ferry ride)

- Walking sticks if you think your knees are not very strong for the descend to Quinten.

- Towel and swimwear if you're planning to swim.

- Good mood and camaraderie as we enjoy nature and company of fellow hikers.
