This long weekend, let's explore together some of the most scenic via ferrate around the Saas valley. The plan is to do 2 via ferratas over 2 days with an overnight stay at the Britannia hut (3030m).
Please read the full description carefully. If you send me a message, please include your number or check your email messages!
Day 1- Sunday: Mittaghorn VF (K2/K3) - we start with a beginner-friendly VF leading to the summit of Mittaghorn at 3144m, with breathtaking panoramic views over the Saas valley, glaciers, and nearby 4000er summits. We descend from the summit and follow the trail to the Britannia hut, where we spend the night. (Estimated time 7hrs, 2hrs of which are for the VF climb)

Day 2- Monday: Britannia VF (K3/K4) - Switzerland's newest VF that's been open since July 2021. A more challenging VF, that reaches to 3130m, with unique views on the Allalin and Mattmark regions. We descend first back to the Britannia hut and further to the Saas valley. ( Estimated: 6.5hrs, 3hrs of which are for VF climb)

I have pre-booked 6 spots at the Britannia hut. If you would like to join and have one of those spots, you'll have to pay for the hut stay in advance (via TWINT/PayPal) write me a pm for the details. RSVP till Thursday 28.07.22

Hut prices (Half-board):
71 CHF for SAC (& other alpine clubs) members,
83 CHF for non-members.

What you need to bring:
- Via ferrata gear (helmet, harness, set)
- Hut sleeping bag
- Good vibes :)
This is not a guided tour, and I'm not an official mountain guide. Participation at this event is at your own risk.
The event might be cancelled/rescheduled in case of bad weather.

This tour sounds really cool! I would really like to join you, would that still be possible? (the hut seems to have plenty of space for the night :P )

I'm sorry it won't be possible as the group is already big and won't be fair to others who were contacting me as well .. i hope to see you in future events (btw, i replied to your email but for some reason it failed to deliver it)
