According to Komoot it is only 1050 height meter, 18km = around 6 hours depending on your speed.

There is a "Sommerrodelbahn" (https://www.flumserberg.ch/rodelberg) at the beginning which i would like to try.

So it is around 30 min more for that.


The hike itself has a great view on Walensee and the surrounding mountains.

It is a common tourist area so there will be lots of places to rest and get some food or drinks.

I am not planning to stop at one, but would instead prefer to make a picnic somewhere.

Open to suggestions by participants though.

Unterterzen – Tannenboden


Around one hour from Zurich HB.


Meeting point will be the cable car "Flumserberg" in Unterterzen, 10:00.


If you wish to come by public transport, please create a car and key in "public transport".


We will not wait for latecomers.
