We meet at Stoosbahnen (Talstation) at 9:00am

Those who need to buy tickets to take the funicular to Stoos (return ticket) should arrive earlier. You can also buy in advance and print at home if you want (https://www.stoos.ch/en/pages/zubringertickets)

9:10am we take the funicular up to Stoos village

Shortly after arriving at Stoos village, we start the ascent to Klingenstock.

This is a slow pace hike (300 - 350m ascent per hour ; 1km per 30min).

When we arrive at the top in Klingenstock, we go along the ridge to Fronalpstock,

The hike is classified as T2. Nevertheless we will walk along the ridge... so you need to be comfortable with the "view" (see picture)

Once we reach Fronalpstock, we go back down to Stoos (on foot or with the skilift for those who dont want /like the descent) and down to the carpark by the next available funicular - or perhaps we stay a bit for a beer  or longer for a sunset (on saturdays the ski-lift and funicular are in operations until 11pm).

We will have a packed lunch along the way - most likely in between the two "peaks".
