We meet at Geitau parking lot (Geitau 30, Bayrischzell for navigation) at 8.30 AM, there we start the hike up to Hochmiesing (using the more technical, southern route through Niederhoferalm/Soinalm up to Soinsee) and take a 15-20 min break at Soinsee after which we continue to the summit. Whilst the route is more technical than the descent, it still is beginner-friendly if you have shoes with good ankle stability.
For descending, we will use the simpler but steeper northern route passing Schellenbergalm where we can stop for a quick snack but please note that the selection is very limited, if you absolutely can not do the trip without eating you have to take something with you.
This is a relatively easy hike and I want to make it beginner friendly (since I am not too experienced myself), so please be aware that the tempo will be adjusted towards the slower people from our group.
Details of the tour: https://www.bergtour-online.de/bergtouren/bergwanderungen/mittel/hochmiesing/
Please remember to bring enough water and a jacket with you since after the lake it can get quite chilly, especially on the shaded parts of the descent.
I am not a mountain guide and you are responsible for your own safety.
