Hi, 


the weather for tomorrow looks good for morning and afternoon - let's make a last-minute hike to Fockenstein

There will be snow on the way (10-20cm), so take whatever makes you feel comfortable on the snow - gaiters and spikes recommended - worst case scenario you stop on the way up in the Aueralm and wait there for the rest

Good to know

We meet at 07:45, buy the Bayern Ticket, take the BOB BOB86957 at 08:04 and then 9559 to Bad Wiessee

On the way down we stop in Aueralm (open all year) for a little refreshment/warm-up. 

Not sure when are we going to be back in Munich, but with a little bit of luck, we can even take a ferry on the way back! 


There is some (very little) precipitation (rather rain for us) forecasted for the evening. The DAV weather forecast has proven to be quite reliable in the past, but please make sure you have waterproof clothing on. Waterproof hiking boots are a must!
