I wanted to go to the same place but originally I planned for a much earlier time to avoid rain because an earlier weather forecast suggested lots of rain in the afternoon this Sunday. As the weather forecast has changed to rain-free this Sunday and noone has signed up for my group yet, I am actually considering join your group — unless you object, of course. Which time do you plan to be at the parking lot P5?

Hi Kesav! Alex here. Thanks for invitation. After consideration, I think I'll skip. Though Hochwanner is where I really wanted to hike, it now occurred to me that going later means also returning later, which is, for me personally, is most likely incompatible with getting enough of sleep before coming to work on Monday in time. Still, thanks once again for being welcoming! See you on other hikes and enjoy your trip to the second-highest peak of Germany!
