Description
We have perfect weather for Zugspitze this weekend!
We start on Friday after work (time, flexible)
At a relaxed pace (chicken-style version), we head from Eibsee to Wiener Neustädter Hütte where I have reserved 3 spots. We get acclimatised to the higher altitude (greatly recommended).
The next coming days, we complete the hike all the way back to the car. Further details planning details shared in the Google Drive document already shared with current confirmed attendees.

Please note that the red hut on Jubigrat is an emergency bivouac. Planned overnight stays in summer should be avoided or at least not publicly announced.

Thanks Fred. Do you know how to publicly announce in advance? I know about the €5 transfer to DAV but not sure if that counts as a pre-notice. Any tips would be much welcome! Thanks!

I meant do not write it publicly in a HB event ;)
The fee can usually be paid directly to the DAV or sometimes there is a cash box in the hut and a book where you write down your stay. But it’s considered bad style to actually plan a night in this hut in summer.
