Not a hike for beginners. Read the whole description carefully. If you don't bring all the "must bring" equipment, you won't be able to join the group.

Please come on time to the meeting point so that your hiking gear could be checked before we get on the train. 

Due to the train situation from Murnau to Garmisch, it is possible to use the Cable Car for descent since people who are renting the equipment need to be in Munich by 7pm or so. 

You must bring-

1. Hiking boots
2. Via-ferrata set, Harness, Helmet
3. Your own transport ticket
4. Experience of T3 level or above in your Hiking-Buddies profile

Recommended to bring-

1. Hiking poles, 
2. Route downloaded to your phone,
3. Enough water and snacks for the whole day
4. Cash
5. Lightly warm cloths
6. Good mood and mindset to hike as a group

Technical Difficulty: This hike is NOT suitable for beginners. You have to be absolutely surefooted and no fear of heights. You should have good stamina. The maximum difficulty level for scrambling/climbing sections will be A/B.

Legal disclaimer: This is not a guided tour. I am merely organizing the trip with people who are properly equipped and experienced with Alpine terrain. Every participant must be able to navigate her/himself on the suggested route. If you join, you acknowledge that you are aware of the risks associated with this hike,  you are fully responsible for yourself and that you have sufficient insurance (DAV, Bergrettung or similar).
