Description

A long brisk stroll. But much of it will be on top!

(copy-paste) A grandiose and relatively unknown U-shaped hike in the north of the Karwendel. The interesting name doesn't necessarily say it all: The tour is long and strenuous , but technically "only" moderate to difficult.  Fleischbank has a magnificent panorama of the entire Karwendel. And from the first summit we can already see the course of our tour. 

We'll have a few summits to choose from to take timely breaks

Plan: We take the train to Lengries and then the bus 9569. It's possible to turn back after Fleischbank, even for part of the group. At Lengries,  we will have drinks/pizza. Last buses from Eng 17.30, 18.34

Participation criteria:

  • You have no "no-shows" in last 3 months in Hiking Buddies
  • You have a good fitness level & pace 400hm per hour.
  • You have done at least some hikes with Hiking Buddies, or you PM me with your experience

Things to bring:

Hiking shoes and gear 

9EUR ticket + 11EUR cash for bus inside Austria

Passport/ID (we cross borders)

Food/drinks for the whole day

Rain jacket



Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours. Also please get familiar with the route before hiking.
