Hike to the "most beautiful 3,000er in the Otztal Alpes, reachable by hiking" according to the author of outdoractive

Costs: Around 50E p.p. for the rent car plus the accommodation at Vent (large apparment booked, about 55E p.p.). A non-refundable prepayment will be necessary.


Plan:


Saturday: Leave from Munich in the morning, go to Vent, optionally do an easy 3000m peak (https://www.hoehenrausch.de/berge/wildes-mannle/) or just relax in the village.

Accomodation at the village of Vent


Sunday: Hike to Kreutzspitze (22km, 1600hm) and back to Munich. In case of bad weather we may go to Wildes Maannle alternatively or an even easier peak.




Good to know

Please bring:

AV insurance, spikes, headlamp, first aid kit , wind/rain protection, sun protection, very warm clothes incl gloves.

Aah, that's a wonderful one! I've never done this peak but used this way as a descent path from another hike. Don't forget to take the gaiters! The streams crossing the path have mostly no fords. You cannot cross those and keep your boots dry inside. At least in the summer while snow is still melting.
