The hike
We will leave from Unterägeri and walk up towards Gottschalkenberg for about 8 km to reach a max altitude of 1’200m (500m up)

After lunch, we will continue towards the Raten Pass and then continue down to Oberägeri and back to Unterägeri.

This is a long hike (20.6km), we will be finished late in the afternoon. If weather permits we could have a swim in the Agerisee.

General information

Transportation
Laurence and I will be going by car we can pick-up 4 people in Berikon-Widen, AG - meeting time: 9:50am
Otherwise I have indicated how to come by train from Zurich HB.

Pace
This is a slow pace hike.
(Slow Pace means 300/350m ascent per hour ; 1km in 30min)

Weather

Forecast looks sunny but this may change - so we might have to cancel the hike if the weather forecast is not good.

You Must Have

Proper hiking boots with a good grip, headlamp, warm clothes, rain cover, sun screen, at least 1,5L of water, and food for lunch and snacks along the way.

Registration
Hike is restricted to 2 persons for the time being - I will open to wide audience when I am sure about the weather

I will include the registered participants in a temporary Whatsapp group for the event so we can coordinate ahead of the hike (in case weather forecast changes for the worst and we have to cancel)
