Hey adventurers,

I am planning a night hike to Zugspitze and before the full blown winter starts and everything is covered in thick snow, I'd like to capitatulate on the small window of best and dry weather of 15.10 and 16.10 in Garmisch to do this night hike. 

The idea is to leave Munich late at night on Saturday 15.10 (example at 23:30) and reach the hiking start destination in the early hours of Sunday 16.10. We hike through the early hours of Sunday and reach the peak before the sun rises. At the peak, early the morning, there should be no flip-flop tourists and ideally we have the peak all for ourselves. We will take pictures of the sunrise, and enjoy hot coffee etc. I will have the necessary camping/cooking equipment for that.

When the restaurant opens, we will have a full breakfast and then decide how to come down (either hike down or cable car - whatever way depends on the group).

A few requirements:

1) Must be able to be free on the coming weekend

2) Must promise to have a good rest on Saturday 15.10 afternoon, to be fit for Sunday night

3) Must have a good headlamp with additional batteries 

4) Must have good winter clothes, gaiters, gloves etc.

5) Can hike in cold conditions (example on snow)

6) Has zero records of 'no-shows' in the profile or known records of joining a hike long in advance only to drop last minute, or known records of giving up half-way during hikes or shortening hikes. Otherwise, I'll have to remove you for the benefit of the group. 

Few other points:

1) Ideally, you have done the Stöpselzieher route several times before

2) You have done night hikes before. It's extremely rewarding and very different from normal day hikes
