Description

Lets take advantage of the last open day of the Coburger hutte and do this tour to Drachenkopf.

The tour is not a T6 but a T4. Due to conditions, it can be more challenging than a T4 is in the summer.

We will see how far we can go and there is always the option to turn back and relax at the hut.

Please join only if you have visible experience (else explain first)

Pace will be 400-hm  .

Please join only if you are sure you want to come.


Time permitting we will have lunch / drinks at Coburger Hutte.

Good to know

The hike can be longer if we need to walk from Ehrwald Bahnhof to the starting point (there is a bus i hope we will catch at least on the way up)


Be punctual else you won't be on the Bayern Ticket.


Things to pack:

--ID we cross borders

--First aid kit

--Headlamp

--Spikes /Crampons (i recommend you pack them from now on by default in your bag)

--Warm clothes. gloves , rain protection

--Food drinks for the whole day

--Cash for transportation

--AV insurance

I have experience in long-term hikes (up to 2 weeks in mountains) in Carpathians and Tatras, so I hope this hike will fit me. I can't help but say, the pictures of Vorderer Drachenkopf are wonderful, I really want to see this place:-)
