Dear buddies,

let´s go to beautiful Hintersteinertal this weekend. Sunday is supposed to be very good weather. Finally!


The most popular route going to Ponten peak is the one that also includes climbing the nearby Bschießer. The tour starts in the parking lot at the end of Hinterstein. From there you first have to follow the signs up to the Willersalpe (1456m). From there we continue through a grass gully in the direction of Zirleseck (1872m). With a breathtaking view over the Tannheimer Tal and many of its peaks, our path now leads west. Once you've followed the path for a bit longer, you can already climb the last few meters on slightly rockier paths to the top of the Ponten. After a short rest on the summit, you then have to descend a bit further on a ridge before you can climb over scree to the summit of the Bschießer.

From here we descend to Zipfelsalpe where we stop for a well deserved drink before going back to the valley. On the way we have lovely views to pretty Zipfelsbach waterfalls.


Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours. Also please get familiar with the route before hiking.

FYI: parking fee is 10€/car. professional rapid tests are only 3€ if you indicate you're going to an indoor event or will meet a person with increased risk for covid infection.

At the Moment the weather looks pretty Good for Sunday and most important dry. No snow from webcams. Really looking forward to see quite a few Buddies in this hike for long time not seen. Wish you a lovely day 🤗
