A nice hike with a night spent at the magnificent Carl-von-Stahl-Haus.

Timeline: 

Day 1

• Start at 16.00 at Parkplatz Königssee (https://goo.gl/maps/k4P2JMPVag88DfAP9) 
• Hike 7,5km with 1100m of altitude gain 
• Arrival at hut at 19.30 right in time for dinner 

Day 2

• Start at 8.00 
• Hike 7,8km with 990m of altitude gain
• Arrival at Kahlersberg at 12.30 
• Hike down to the parking lot, 10,8km of pure downhill
• Arrival at the parking lot at 17.30 (depending on how long we rest at the top)

Organisation: 
I will book the accommodation at the hut in advance. Price for a bed in the Mehrbettzimmer is 15,00€ for DAV members, 30,00€ for non-DAV. Prepayment via PayPal is necessary. Please note that I want to reserve the beds at least 5 days in advance, so the deadline for joining the event is the 15th of October. Packing list: 

• Standard hiking gear (boots, poles etc.)
• Headlamp
• Hüttenschlafsack
• House slippers for inside the hut
• DAV card (if you are member)
• Enough cash
• ID card/passport since we will be crossing the Austrian border
• Powerbank for charging your phone etc.
• Food for the second day — there are no huts after we leave the Carl-von-Stahl-Haus
