Dear hiking buddies.

This is a round trip to the lake Caumasee and some viewpoints to the Rheinschlucht, most of the time through a nice colourful forest.

Meeting point for train:

Train goes of at 07:35 at platform 5.
Meeting under the blue angel at 07:25.

Time Frame:

09:30 meet and start the hike

(train arrives 09:16)

12:00 picnic and break at Caumasee

17:00 back at the station

We are a big group, so there will always be slower people and the timeframe can change.

Meeting point:

We meet at Station Versam Safien (https://goo.gl/maps/rvjKJWcvbAJYEvq19) at 10:00.

You can park the cars there or come by train

Zurich-Chur

Chur-Versam Safien

Around 1:40 driving time by train or 1:30 by car from Zurich HB.

Hike:

We will walk up to the view points north of Rheinschlucht.

From there the path goes through the forest to Caumasee, where we will take a break and have time for picnic.

It is around 700 height meters and 21 Km.

There are restaurants along the way at the view point, at Caumasee and one later at Laax.

Picnic:

You can buy food and drinks at the restaurants, but can also bring your own lunch.

Equipment:

No specific equipment needed.

Application:

As always there is the possibility to come by car.

Join the car pool and either create a car yourself or have a look who can take you there.

For those who come by public transport please create a "car" in the carpool with as many seats as possible and use "public transport" as a description. That way others can join that one and we keep a good overview.

No maximum number of participants.
