Description

The last chance to use public bus to Ahornboden / Tirol. We go to 2450m and enjoy autumn, oak trees, alpine landscape and tons of sun.


The hike is physically not an easy one - straight up, and 1300 vertical meters. You should be in a good shape - expected ±400 hm/h. Please no beginners on this route. Situation on top looks good according to local people, and mountain should be accessible. In case there are serious difficulties we go direction of Falkenhütte to enjoy autumn views and alpine landscape. If you have, please grab spikes.


We take train BRB RB56 at 7.04 from Munich HBF to Lenggries. From Lenggries, then bus 9569 to Eng-Tirol Gasthaus. Start of action around 09:30.

Bus back from Eng-Tirol Gasthaus at 17.30 or 18.35.


There are no huts on the way up - please bring enough water and food. If we have time we can grab dinner at Rasthütte / Eng Alm


We are all grown up people - you are responsible for yourself.


P.S. it is a good idea to have an ID - oficially we will be in Austria, but no one will check documents.
