A long easy hike in the Berchstgaden National Park.

We will meet at Munich Ost at 05:45.

Description of the hike

The goal of the hike it is to enjoy nice landscape in one of the most beautiful bavarian Alps. The highlight of the hike are the following one:

We will start our hike at the bus stop close to Hinteresee and we will enjoy a walk around the lake with enough time for pictures. Afterwards we will follow the Zauberwald path till we reach Wimbachbruke, walking along a small river. Once we reach Wimbachbruke we will enjoy amazing view of the small waterfall that characterize the Wimbachklamm and we will follow the path till we reach Wimbachschloss where we will enjoy a late lunch with the view over Watzmann mountains.

We will walk back to Berchstgaden where we will catch the train back to Munich.There is a train every hour till 20:32

What to bring: 

- Hiking shoes

- Mask for the train 

- ID Card/passport 

- Light jacket

- Charged mobile phone with the gpx file of the hike 

- Enough cash for the food at the hut, the entrance of the Wimbachklamm and the bayern ticket 

- Enough water for the hike + snack

- Hiking poles (not mandatory)
