Description

The hike Heimgarten and Herzogstand is one of the most beautiful hikes in Bavaria. The ridge between Heimgarten an Herzogstand offers amazing views of Walchensee and Kochelsee. The hike is technically easy, except few sections in the ridge. Those sections are secured with the rope for safety.

To bring

- good hiking/trekking shoes + poles

- enough water and snacks

- sun screen/glasses/hat

Good to know
In case of snow/bad weather the event might be cancelled. The hike will take place.

This event is for people who have some hiking experience and/or have a very good fitness, but don't want to spend the whole day hiking. If you are looking for a more relaxed pace or are at the start, please join the discussions on the Facebook group or look up previous events.

The plan is to go by car. If you have one, please add it to the carpool and then we can increase the number of participants.

  • 06:30   meet @see carpool
  • 07:45   hiking start; Am Tanneneck 6, 82432 Walchensee
  • 13:00   end the hike
  • 14:30   back to Munich
