Due to its exposed position and the sun terrace on the summit, it enjoys this fame for the most part, but at the expense of mass tourism. Thanks to the gondola and funicular, everyone can enjoy the summit. Please bring lots of water (more than 2L please) and enough food for the day.
And any sun protection you may need.

Dear all, it would be great if anybody can offer another carpool for the wait listed hikers. We will start the hike tour tomorrow at 8:00 o`clock from the Wanderparkplatz Birkenstein. Wishing seeing you tomorrow there!
