Description
My friend and I want to rent a car and go on a
day trip to Hallstatt on Saturday November 12. It's a scenic town in Austria
and UNESCO World Heritage site. It will be 40€/person (car rental+petrol), if 3
more people join us
The plan for a day:

2. Have lunch in one of cozy restaurants
3. Walk around Hallstatt
Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours. Also please get familiar with the route before hiking.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone.

- Food (We will have lunch in Hallstatt after the hike. It's always good to have enough food with you)

Hi Alia, I don't know, if it's kid-friendly. I haven't been to Hallstatt. We are going as a small group - 5 people. I'm not planing to increase the number of participants.

Parking in Hallstatt is in high demand, particularly on a sunny weekend. I’d say, arriving there at 9:30 could be on the “being late” side. Arriving 30 mins earlier could prove the right decision. Last year, we’ve been there around the same period on a very foggy / cold / ugly weather and it was full. We managed to find a spot to park somewhere inside the village (probably illegal). You turn right on a narrow street after you drive past P1
