So i wanted to do a Via Ferrata climb this week, and have decided to do this one.
If someone wants to join me, cool.
I am not a professional guide. Everyone is responsible for themselves and should know their own limits.
Meeting point is the beginning of the track 11 at Hbf. Please be there at 5:40 at the latest!
IMPORTANT! Location and time of the meeting point has been changed to Donnersbergerbrücke bus stop at 06:30 am!
We will take the train from Hbf Munich at 5:46(>Salzburg, M 79003). We exit at Freilassing and transfer to the train for Berchtesgaden(BLB S4). We should arrive at Berchtesgaden at around 8:30. We will go with a car to Königssee and from there we go on foot until the start of the Via Ferrata.
After we reach the peak and eventually drink a "Gipfelbier", we will go to the hut nearby and drink a beer. Then we can take a walk up to the Watzmannhaus to check out the views from there or we can go back to Berchtesgaden right away and take the train back to Munich. We can also take a dip at the Konigssee if you want.
You should bring enough money for the ticket and eventually for the beer/meal at the hut.
