bit of a short notice hike.. 

The route is a moderate one, you need to have appropriate fitness. The ascent seems a bit steep

The ascent is partly steep so not very beginner friendly rough and slippery and unpleasant in wet weather.

Essential gear:

  • food/drinks for the day
  • warm jacket
  • mobile phone
  • map and gpx
  • gloves and hat
  • suitable shoes/boots
  • money for the driver
  • good mood

Recommended additional gear:

  • first aid kit
  • bivi bag
  • head lamp
  • hiking poles
  • gaiters
  • maybe Grödel





Good to know

I will pick people up from Donnersbergerbrücke bus stop at 8:00, in front of the Litfasssäule just 50m before the bus stop goind south towards Garmisch. Please unjoin the event atleast untill 18:00 on 26.11. if not sure. Check the car pool for seats in my car.


This is not a guided tour but hiking with friends. The usual waivers apply (hiking can be dangerous, you should be responsible for yourself and take care of others, be respectful to the environment).
