Last minute opportunity - For Experienced Hikers !

We are likely to find snow and ice.

Meeting Einsiedeln train station, no later than train arriving 8:33 from Zurich. I can take 3 persons max in my car for a 4km drive to the hike start.

Good to know

Minimum hiking gear:


  • Hiking shoes (and poles)
  • Appropriate mountaineering attire for the Season
  • Backpack with Warm & Rain clothes, no matter the weather forecast
  • Hat & Gloves
  • Sun glasses & sun cream
  • Water & Food for picnic
  • Loaded smartphone with Swisstopo or SuisseMobile App and downloaded local maps
  • Suggested essential First Aid kit
