The hike
We start at 9:20am from Wildpark Höfli.
We cross the Wildnispark Zürich Langenberg (Wildlife park in Langnau am Albis) - https://www.wildnispark.ch/en/
We climb towards Albispass (793m)
Then we go towards Hochwacht (Aussichtsturm) where we stop at the viewpoint.
We come back to our departure point through Langnau am Albis.

Food
Bring your own lunch, as well as snacks for breaks.
Warm drinks in isotherm bottle might be a good idea.
There are restaurants along the way (albispass) but can’t guarantee they will be opened.

General information

Transportation
Laurence and I will be going by car we can pick-up 4 people in Berikon-Widen, AG - meeting time: 8:40am, or in Birmensdorf, ZH - meeting time: 8:50am.
Otherwise I have indicated how to come by train from Zurich HB.

Pace
This is a slow pace hike.
(Slow Pace means 300/350m ascent per hour ; 1km in 30min)

Weather
Forecast is all day very cloudy, but no rain.
Temperatures around -1 degrees.
So make sure you take extra layers, as well as gloves and hat.

You Must Have
Proper hiking boots with a good grip, headlamp, warm clothes, rain protection / sun screen, at least 1,5L of water, and food for lunch and snacks along the way.

Registration
Max number of 15 including Laurence and I.

I will include the registered participants in a temporary Whatsapp group for the event so we can coordinate ahead of the hike (in case weather forecast changes for the worst and we have to cancel)
