Description

Sure, the forecast looks grim for tomorrow. But the bad weather only starts in the afternoon, so if we get out early we can still enjoy the mountains and be back before it gets wet! We'll take a train to Fischhausen-Neuhaus and then the connecting bus to Spitzingsee.

Depending on the weather we may just go up to Rotwand and back.

Good to know

Please bring:

  • Water proof jacket
  • Waterproof hiking boots
  • Warm clothes
  • Food and water - if the weather is turning bad we will not stop at the hut!
  • Spikes (mini crampons)
  • Headtorch (just in case!)
  • Money for the ticket (coins and small notes!)
  • Positive attitude, good chat.

Strongly consider bringing:

  • Gaiters
  • waterproof trousers
  • hiking poles
