SYLVESTER HIKE on SATURDAY 31 December - 9:00am meeting time
Meeting point: Frankental, at the end of Line 13, at 9:00am

The hike
We start from the end of Tram Line 13 in Frankental.
We do a loop, clockwise, leaving Frankental to go up to Hönggerberg (541m).
Then we go towards thew ETH Höngg and the Albert Steiner Garten.
We continue towards Waidberg (582m) and Chäferberg (571m), and turn to come back to Frankental.
Food
Warm drinks in isotherm bottle might be a good idea.
Snacks for the road - no lunch as we will be finished by 12noon

Transportation
Laurence and I will be going by car we can pick-up 4 people in Berikon-Widen, AG - meeting time: 8:35am.
Otherwise I have indicated how to come by tram from Zurich HB.
Pace
This is a slow pace hike. (Slow Pace means 300/350m ascent per hour ; 1km ascent in 30min)

You Must Have
Proper hiking boots with a good grip, headlamp, warm clothes, rain protection / sun screen, at least 1,5L of water, and food for snacks along the way.

There is another hike planned in the evening at Uetliberg to see the fireworks.
As it is not possible to register to two hikes the same day, you can come to this morning hike without registering - just make sure you text me to let me know you are coming.
