Hey hiking buddies :)


I couldn't think another better way to start 2023 than this, Quite spontaneous though , but i can see the weather looks promising and after New years eve party if you still has some energy left do join as It's an easy walk around to start 2023 :)  We start with the train at 09.03 from Hauptbahnhof.

We will be meeting nearby platform 33, at 8.50 and we will buy our group ticket, but unfortunately, if you are too late you need to buy your ticket so kindly be punctual!

 

Transportation by public transport: The easiest way to reach there is to take the BOB train towards Lenggries, and get off at Bad Tölz. Please note that BOB train split in Holzkirchen, so make sure you are in the right compartment which goes towards Lenggries. From Bad Tölz, you can take bus 9612 towards Kochel am See, and get off at Blombergbahn, Wackersberg. That's the starting point of the hike. Another possibility is to take the train to Kochel, and then bus to Blombergbahn, Wackersberg. 

 

Things to Bring: -

  • Hiking shoes (waterproof or snowshoes)
  • Trekking/hiking poles.
  • Crampons and Gaiters (Better to have)
  • Gloves and Warm cloths
  • Food and water (2-3 litres) as Huts could be closed because of New year
  • Downloaded GPX map
  • Cash/Paypal for the ticket
  • Good mood and energy :)

Optional:

  • Headlamp.
  • Rain jacket.
  • Sunglasses/protection glasses(transparent).
