Let's take advantage of the warm weather, the low amount of snow in the Alps and climb the Alpspitze. Several people climbed it today (Monday) and posted plenty of amazing pictures on Facebook :). The robes are visible at all difficult parts. 

We will take the route on the map but start in Hammersbach. This does not save us a lot of time but some energy. The way down passes Garmisch Classic Skiing area, we might need some changes on this part. The hike might be long in Winter conditions but there is no snow at the lower parts. In case the forecast changes severly, I will cancel the hike.

There will be no stop in Huts, please bring food and drinks for the whole day. We will not take the cable car.

This hike is only for experienced hikers. We will have a medium pace of about 450 hm/hour in winter conditions. Please contact me in advance in case it is not obvious from your profile that you performed similar hikes in the past.

Technical difficulty: This hike is graded as T5 and we will have a pace of around 450 hm/h. No rush but a constant medium pace.

• Route downloaded on the phone
• winter hiking shoes;
• spikes or Steigeisen
  
• headlamp;
• food and water
  
• good energy.

• first aid kit.
