Hi hikers,
Let`s go for a winter(ish) hike near Seealpsee in this strange winter. After the hike: optional quick sightseeing in Appenzell. Anybody wants some cheese? :)

Hike start: 09.45 Wasserauen
Route: Wasserauen - Ebenalp - Schäfler - Seealpsee - Wasserauen (-Appenzell)
How to get there by public transport:
Train (IC 1 to Sant Gallen) departs at 07:39 from HB, platform 33. Meeting point: At the platform, 07:30, first 2nd class car next to the locomotive in the direction of travel.
Journey: ZH HB - Gossau - Wasserauen
How to get there by car: Using GPS ;)
Meeting point with those, who come by car: Wasserauen, train station, 09:45
We will have our lunch break at the top (Schäfler) and several mini-breaks on the viewing points.
What is necessary: Hiking boots, optional poles, enough food and water, proper clothes acc. to the weather, good mood and fitness condition.
Spikes are also reccommended, just in case.
Please be aware that it may be cold on the top, choose your hiking clothes accordingly (several layers, warm clothes, gloves etc). You can check the weather forecast here:
