The hike
We start from the Station Stettbach.
We do a 9km loop from Stettbach to Zürichberg and back.

We go up along the Sagentobelbach, have a look at the Sagentobelbachfall (waterfall).
We reach the entrance of Zürich Zoo and continue to Zürichberg (summit at 676m).
We loop back to Stettbach, through the forest with stops at:
- Adolf Hanslin Gedenkstein
- Orkan Lothar 1999

Food
Warm drinks in isotherm bottle might be a good idea.
Snacks for the road - no lunch as we will be finished by 12noon

General information



Transportation
Laurence and I will be going by car we can pick-up 4 people in Berikon-Widen, AG - meeting time: 8:55am.

Otherwise I have indicated how to come by tram from Zurich HB.



Pace

This is a slow pace hike.
 Some people will also come with dogs.
(Slow Pace means 300/350m ascent per hour ; 1km ascent in 30min) 


Weather

Forecast is ok for now
Temperatures around 6 degrees.

So make sure you take extra layers, as well as gloves and hat.



You Must Have

Proper hiking boots with a good grip, headlamp, warm clothes, rain protection / sun screen, at least 1,5L of water, and food for snacks along the way.
