Description

Hello!

Looks like a snowy weekend, what about some adventure in the beautiful Tirol? The idea is to go to Kufstein by train with the Bayern Ticket and then hike up to the Ritzau Alm or further to the Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte depending on the weather. Amazing views and food :). The hike is technically easy but you have to be fit since it is almost 1000 m meters up in winter conditions.

By the way this is a T2 Hiking, I picked up this Route and dont know how tho change it :).

Good to know

Usual stuff for winter hikes:

  • Winter clothes
  • Warm boots
  • Spikes (quite helpful to save energy)
  • Food and drinks
  • Bring ID/Passport (we go to Austria)

Please check the route and make sure you are fit, we will keep a reasonable pace (no hurries) but you should be able to go up!
