Description
This will be my very first skitour. I am experienced in alpine ski.
I will rent skitour equipment from here (https://www.sportalm-bayrischzell.de/).
If you also want to rent, please note that you need to reserve it in advance. if you bring yours, you should bring the patience to wait at the rental shop.
We will take our time familiarize with the equipment, learn from each other, laugh with ourselves and we will go very slow up towards Wendelstein (or Sudelfeld, see flyer here https://www.sportalm-bayrischzell.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Schneeschuh-Skitouren-Flyer.pdf)
You are welcome to join if you have experience in other forms of ski and want to try out skitouring.
Also buddies with some experience in skitouring are welcome to join if they have the necessary patience or find fun in observing beginners failing and maybe give one or another advice.
Good to know
Be punctual else you won't be on the Bayern Ticket.
Disclaimer : I am not a mountain guide. This will be my very first skitour. Hiking and skitouring can be dangerous You are responsible for yourself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

Guys, please be sure to check the avalanche reports before going, it's quite dangerous right now due to the storm. It would be wise to stay inside the official slopes. Just a word of caution. Stay safe out there, and have fun guys!

I didn't see any mention of the current conditions (50+kmh wind and over 50cm snow in areas) in your hike, so I wrote a comment about it to inform in case anything was missed. No need to be aggressive. Just helping my fellow hiking buddies to stay out of danger.

Also, since this event is targeted towards beginners, who might not have training and experience about avalanche conditions and rescue, I felt it would definitely help to add this information. Even then, everyone's decision is their own.

Being experienced in the alpine doesnt necessarily mean being experienced with avalanches. You did explicitly say it is your very first ski tour. The avalanche situation this weekend is going to be very dangerous and i think barely any experienced skitourer/person who has learned about avalanches is going to skitour this weekend. I think a polite comment like gauravs is very useful. If you stick strictly to on piste thats fine, everything outside of piste is very dangerous and a friendly reminder of that especially if the event is targeted to beginners is necessary.

I know who to ask to get advice on skitouring and avalances, definitely I dont rely on advice of random commentators here. Your comments are detrimental to the community because the organisators here pay the price of dealing with the opinion of random people as you, who have nothing to do with the event (you are not a participant). Hence, many go private to avoid this non-sense. Thus, I urge you to stop commenting when you are not a participant, find other ways to fulfill your need to do useful stuff, there are plenty of other choices to volunteer.
