Description

The weather report is looking not-bad-not-great for tomorrow, but it's no reason not to get out and hike! This is a little-known route, but it offers pretty good views if the fog clears long enough.


Good to know

Meet at Hauptbahnhof before 8 am. At 8 sharp I will buy the ticket -- if you're late, you'll have to buy your own.

There will be no hut so bring enough food! Depending on conditions, we won't take very long breaks, so sandwiches and trail mix are ideal.

Mandatory equipment:

  • Hiking boots
  • At least 2 litres of water
  • Food
  • More food
  • Long pants (due to ticks)
  • Warm clothes -- it will snow a bit tomorrow
  • Rain jacket and pants

Strongly recommended equipment:

  • Hiking poles
  • Spikes -- the path may be very slippery due to the rain in the past few days
  • Flashlight
