!!! Weather forecast changed, looks better on Saturday. I changed the event time to Saturady (18 May), please update your status.

Public transport: We take RB 5411 departing at 7:32 am from Munich HBF at platform number 29, change at Murnau RB 59559 to Unterammergau. That's our starting point, we will finish our hike at Oberammergau.

Departure time of return connection: 15:38 (1h48m), 16:38 (1h48m), 17:38 (1h48m), 18:38 (1h48m). 

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T3, although most of the part is T2. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T3. Due to snow, the route will feel more exhausting. The hike is not suitable for beginners. We will stay together in the group. Please don't join if you have to come back to Munich early or have some plans in the evening.

Huts: We will have food/drinks at Kolbensattelhütte. It might be late when we arrive at the hut, so please bring enough food/drinks for the whole day.

Alpine Coaster: We will take the alpine coaster for the last part to Oberammergau. The cost of alpine coaster is 8.50 EUR per person. More information is available here.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket (11 - 16 Euro), and for the food at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Warm clothes
• Gaiters (required)
• Spikes (required)
• Headlight (just in case)

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
