Description
Meeting point: Cable car station Riemenstalden, Chäppeliberg at 8:30, starting from Zurich at around 7:20
Ski tour difficult grade: WS
Route: We will use the cable car to go first to Lidernenhütte SAC. Then we have a pretty easy ski tour route with specular views from the top. First, we ascend to Rossstock, ski down to the hut, and then go to Hundstock. There is possible to ski back from there to the valley but because the conditions are not so good in the lower parts anymore we can go by cable car back as well. We will find a good place in the sun for a snack.
Avalanche danger: low
Snow condition: good, 80-100 cm snow (from the hut)
Required equipment: Avalanche safety equipment (beacon, shovel, probes), Skitouring equipment (touring skis or board, poles, ski touring boots)
