The Hike

We start at the Schulhaus in Hütten 8825 Wädenswil (740m)
We leave the village by Dörfli and go towards the Sihl.
We cross the Sihl and take Mistlibühlstrasse.
After Gripbach we take a right in the forest and go towards Sparenhütte.
We follow the Nettenbach from high and reach Höhronen (1’210m)
We turn back and come back to Mistlibühlstrasse, by a different way, then back to Hütten by Gschwendboden, and Orischwandtobelstrasse.

General information

I will take pictures during the hike and will publish them in the group on Facebook. If you dont want to appear, please let me know at the start of the hike.


Transportation


Laurence and I will be going by car we can pick-up 4 people, either in Berikon-Widen at 7:50am, or in Birmensdorf, ZH - meeting time: 8:00am.

Otherwise I have indicated how to come by train from Zurich HB to Hütten, Schulhaus.
Pace


This is a slow pace hike. Some people will come with dogs.
 (Slow Pace means 300/350m ascent per hour ; 1km ascent in 30min)


Food
Warm drinks in isotherm bottle might be a good idea as it will be around 10 degrees.
Snacks for the road - no lunch as we will be finished by 12.30pm.



Weather

Forecast for now is sunny with some clouds…
Temperatures around 10 degrees.
 So make sure you take a few layers, as well as gloves and hat.
The path might be muddy at times, you might want to have poles.

Safety notices

YOU MUST HAVE proper hiking boots with a good grip, headlamp, warm clothes, rain protection / sun screen, at least 1,5L of water, and food for snacks along the way.
