Description

Hey!

The hike goes into the Mieminger Kette and will include an "Überschreitung" of the Hohe Munde (2662 m) from Ehrwald to Leutasch.

Meeting at 6:55 in front of Gleis 29, where we can buy the Werdenfels Tickets.

Good to know

The hike is not suitable for beginners ("Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit sind Voraussetzung") and includes some easy via ferrata parts on the westside, look here for a topography of the westside: http://www.bergsteigen.com/sites/default/files/topos/hohe_munde_westgrat_klettersteig_topo.pdf

Helmet is recommended, and maybe via ferrata gear, if you are unexperienced with via ferratas. I can lend one via ferrata gear.
As we could encounter some snow, Grödel and hiking sticks can be quite useful.

There is only one hut at the end of the hike, so bring enough drinks and food.

The last bus from Leutasch is at 18:23, but I will not rush to it, as we can go by foot to Seefeld or just hitchhike, which is usually no problem in mountain regions.
