Hi,
assuming that the weather will be nice on Sunday I wanted to to try hiking Bodenschneid and Brecherspitz, starting from Suttensee and finishing at Fischhausen-Neuhaus (good train connection)

I am looking for some people who would like to join me; please note that due to the weather and other reasons, we may be flexible on this trip - I will be making decisions about the route on-the-go, depending on the group, weather and time.

Please note I am not a mountain guide. Hiking may potentially be dangerous and you do it at your own risk. Make sure you check the weather forecast and prepare well for the conditions.    

I amended the start time of the event, to accommodate people who want to vote in the European elections. Looking at the weather forecast, we should get better weather and views if we arrive there later, but we may need to amend the route somewhat - I will see tomorrow.

Good to know

Please bring food for the day - we will be stopping to eat at Bodenschneidhaus (we will most likely need some rest by then), but as the day will be long you should have food/snacks with you. Please note Bodenschneidhaus is a pretty old and basic hut. Please take water and sunscreen with you. Current view from a webcam at Obere Firstalm (on the way) can be found here:
