The Hike


We start at the Parkplatz Höhenweg in Schindellegi 8834
We leave the village and go towards the Gasthaus Rossberg, and then take a left and go uphill to the Wildspitz (1’205m) with view of the Zürichsee.
We walk the ridge for about 1.5km and take a left again to close the loop back to Schindellegi.

General information

I will take pictures during the hike and will publish them in the group on Facebook. If you dont want to appear, please let me know at the start of the hike.


Transportation


Laurence and I will be going by car we can pick-up 4 people, either in Berikon-Widen at 8:05am, or in Birmensdorf, ZH - meeting time: 8:15am.


Otherwise I have indicated how to come by train from Zurich HB to Schingellegi-Feusisberg,
Once in there, the meeting point is within 5min walking distance.



Pace


This is a slow pace hike. Some people will come with dogs.

(Slow Pace means 300/350m ascent per hour ; 1km ascent in 30min) 



Food

Warm drinks in isotherm bottle might be a good idea as it will be around 6 degrees.
Snacks for the road - no lunch as we will be finished by 12noon.



Weather


Forecast for now is sunny. Temperatures around 6 degrees.

So make sure you take a few layers, as well as gloves and hat.
The path might be muddy at times, you might want to have poles.

Safety notices

YOU MUST HAVE
 proper hiking boots with a good grip, headlamp, warm clothes, rain protection / sun screen, at least 1,5L of water, and food for snacks along the way.
