Description

Arc'teryx sponsored tour: This tour is sponsored by Arc'teryx. 

  • Arc'teryx will cover the transportation cost and hut stay including meals for everyone. Each driver will receive cost for (fuel + parking) max 60 EUR.
  • All drivers will start from Munich (Recommended time to leave from Munich: 6 am)
  • All drivers meet at the parking lot at 9:00. At 9:15 we start ascent
  • Each participant can get a test gear (gloves, jackets, backpack) for 1 month. Please use the following list to select the test gear: test gear. You can contact me directly.

Participation criteria: 

  • You have no objections in being photographed those pictures will be used in social media.
  • You have experience with ski hochtours before and have done avalanche course
  • Please contact me before joining

Carpool: If you have a car, please add it to the carpool, if you don't have a car you can join one of the existing cars in the carpool. If there is no convenient car for you, you can join waiting list and you will be notified when a car is added to the carpool. For drivers the recommended departure time from Munich: 6:00 AM. 

Technical difficulty: The tour has difficulty T4, please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T4. The final route will be decided few days before, the current route is just an idea. If the conditions are bad, we will change the route.

Things to bring:

  • Ski touring gear
  • Avalanche gear 
  • Glacier equipments 
  • Food/drinks for the way
  • Warm clothes 
  • General stuff for overnight stay
  • Good mood
  • Headlamp (just in case)
  • Hut sleeping bag for hygiene 

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
