This is not a hike, but a trail running event.
The plan is to prepare for the upcoming "Andechs-Trail" race (expert trail).
To quote the organizers of the race: "The track runs along unpaved forest, field and meadow paths. Make sure you have suitable shoes! In order to be able to master the Expert Trail, you should have already completed distances of around 20 km!"
Time table:
(optional: 9:00 S-Bahnhof Dachau)
(optional: 9:30 S-Bahnhof Freiham)
10:00 Parking space Kloster Andechs
11:30-12:00 Return to parking space
(optional: 12:00 - 13:00 visit the "Bräustüberl" for lunch.)
(Have to figure out how to change this.)
The plan is to start at 10.00 at Andechs and to run for approx. 1:40 hours (plus or minus 15 minutes depending on the group, last week it took me 1:30 hours).
Please only join, if you are confident you can already run 15k (walking uphill parts is ok).
Disclaimer: I am not a guide, this is not a guided tour and you are responsible for yourself. I expressly draw the participants' attention to the partly rocky, rooty and possibly also muddy route and the associated dangers. It is in parts not an easy ground to run on and you can hurt yourself. I am not responsible for any injuries caused. Also you are responsible for your own navigation / finding your way back if you get separated from the group.
