Description

I've booked a four person room at the Fritz - Putz - Hütte ( https://alpenverein-fuessen.de/huetten/fritz-putz-huette/) for Friday 7th.

It's a self catering hut. The plan is to head down Friday morning hike to the hut for the evening and then doing two more peaks on the Saturday.

The first peak has a T5 section just before the top, depends on the conditions we can either skip it or do it. Overall route is not so long but given the snow make sure you have sufficient fitness to do this two day hike

We will also pass Neuschwanstein and should be able to do a short detour to a view point of the castle.

Good to know

Price for the hut is €18.50 for DAV members.

- Please inform yourself regarding individual hut requirements/rules. 

- Additional items not to forget: travel documents, DAV card, mummy sack, towel, house shoes, snacks, rain gear, enough cash for travel tickets and hut costs.

- Every hiker must have their own means of navigation using map (paper or digital).

- It still winter so bring spikes , gaiters and sufficiently warm clothing
