The Hike
We leave from Zurich Triemli and follow the unmarked Friesenburgweg towards the ruins of Friesenberg Castle, from where we can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Zurich.
Then we continue towards Rossweidliegg and follow the white-marked ridge path uphill to the right: the stretch is tricky (T3) sometimes quite steeply, over roots and steps. (Alternatives available to avoid this passage).
We reach the private hut of the Clarida Alpine Club, from where we have a beautiful view of Lake Zurich again…
Then we reach Uetliberg and admire the view.
On the way back we need to take the Planentenweg (other routes are closed) to Uto Staffeland we then take a left and go down thru Linderweg (LW marking)
