Dear All, I unfortunately decided to move this hike again due to rainy forecast for this weekend. I would not want to risk and I did not want to cancel/reschedule the last minute so you have the time to make other plans. Hope we can finally make it in 2 weeks! 


PS Please make sure you have the Deutschland ticket!

Relaxed pace, we will enjoy, make breaks, take pictures ,-)

  • Cash for ticket, food or other expenses
  • Hiking shoes

  • Hiking poles, head lamp, sunglasses
  • Raincoat & hiking clothes
  • Download.gpx file in advance and ready with import to your tracking app/’s. Example gpx viewer
  • First Aid Kit
  • spare socks
  • Most importantly, a good mood 😊

** I am not a mountain guide, so please be aware that you join at your own risk. **

** Route may not be beginner-friendly, expect if you are a regular sports person. Please check distance and elevation **

Good to know

Please unjoin the event well in advance if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours.

Disclaimer: Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarize themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. 

If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else

dear participants, if you are in, please make sure to de-register from other events! I saw some of you are now in several hikes for Saturday. thank you for being responsible and giving space for others if you are not planning to go with us!🙏

It is a very nice hike. Just in case, would be also a good idea to check the snow condition and prepare accordingly.

Dear all, at least 5 people from the waiting list (or even outside of it) contacted me if they could join the hike regardless. I’m not able to respond to everyone in person, but please note, I would not like to have any additional people joining! I understand many of you have the Deutschland ticket, but it is not about it. I would not want to have even a larger group, and we already have another group of 10 doing the same route and probably walking in parallel. please, I ask you for understanding, I won’t be accommodating additional people who are not on the list. thank you for understanding again

dear all, please bring poles for tomorrow and we expect some snow on the peak! you also need to be flexible as some adjustments to the route might be needed based on the conditions. Finally, bring enough water and food as we probably will have lunch at the peak! see you tomorrow!
